Prompts are tied to a precise place, and an assistant that searches the web for "airport transfer to a given town" finds few pages that answer exactly. The operator that publishes a dedicated page per route or per airport often becomes the cited source.

The flip side is volatility. Local answers depend on what the search step retrieves on a given day, so a company can appear for one wording and vanish for a close variant. Assistants that search the web live, such as Perplexity or ChatGPT with search, react quickly to new pages; answers that rely mostly on training data change slowly and favour long-established brands.

Regulation shapes the answers too.
